What do you think are the positive characteristics of being an autistic person?

I quite often feel negative about my autism, and that I would have had a very different (better?) life if I had been allistic.

So, in a way this is a cheer yourself up thread.

    That is an interesting list. No 10. only applies to me for things that happened a long time ago and often useless bits of information. My short term memory has always been terrible. Sometimes I write lists or instructions to help me remember something, then forget where I put it.
