What do you think are the positive characteristics of being an autistic person?

I quite often feel negative about my autism, and that I would have had a very different (better?) life if I had been allistic.

So, in a way this is a cheer yourself up thread.

  • Not being aware of social hierarchy so speaking to the senior leadership team at work and being on good terms with them as a result (it has led to promotions for me).
