So I use a music notation software called Notion. I plugged in all the notes using what I lovingly call the “drag and drop method,” where I use a mouse to click in each individual note. Some people use keyboards to save time and effort, but I’ve always done it the slower way ever since I started writing stuff in the 00’s.

And I’m always happy to answer any music questions you have lol!

Very relaxing, I listened to another take of the theme for comparison and it was a lot more shrill, your version you've managed to avoid that and it's just very layered and enjoyable! How did you layer out the midi track, do you write out the music or play each part via keyboards? (Sorry for the very lay questions), I did a music module at uni and it was very interesting.

If you have a photo of the yellow tiger moth at Duxford, I'd love to see that, I think there were two flying that day, a grey and a yellow one, and it was the latter he went in. We have a dvd, but I'm trying to remember where the pictures would be from it, as it was 16 years ago, and it would have been an old camera most likely, certainly nothing with that clarity.

Ahh you have a white dwarf from the magazine, I did play myself back in school, but it was my brother's magazine so I didn't get the figure -at least the white metal was better than the older ones we used to get, which I'm sure might have contained lead. Probably why they always insisted models were at least undercoated! I still have a lot of mine in boxes, where as Damian has his in display cabinets in the office! 

That is some serious hacking skills to get a suitable place for using the airbrush, but must make it a lot handier to use. And an art studio in the garden sounds grand, both really good set ups for creativity!

I think your underplaying the gundam kits by calling them cheaper Jamesmac !  _ i haven't made a kit myself for a few months either - i tend to do them in the winter time when I don't have my garden and allotment plants calling me to look after them!

Oh yes! The content available is amazing now. Also, many artefacts can be viewed in 3D, which in the case of figurines, makes it possible to see important details from angles other than those afforded to in person visitors.

I plan to take time to look at the Bayeux Tapestry online.

I follow museums and art galleries on Instagram and it is always a delight when an item of historic interest pops up in my stream.

I haven’t visited the British Museum for years and I don’t think I could manage London very easily now. 

Some of the European museums such as those in Athens and other parts of Greece are less intense, especially out of season.

Yes headphones, sunglasses and a brimmed hat to pull down over the eyes help me through the experience.

It is far too busy as are most/all of the art galleries and museums in London.

I found it easier when I was young but then the population of London was less.

Sorry you had that horrid experience there.

I get quite panicky in crowds and have to leave.

Travelling and being somewhere other than my home are things I find increasingly difficult as I age.

Time will tell.

I recommend bringing good headphones/ear defenders and maybe sunglasses.

I hope you can get to see the British Museum without it causing too much anxiety.

that's a great coincidence! if it's not the exact one i have some of other tiger moths at Duxford if you haven' already got one (hehe after writing that i realise that's pretty unlikely - that sort of event definitely one likely to be captured ( including the post flight grin!)  I painted a lot of "dungeons and dragons" figures a looooong time ago - still got lots of them stashed away and my daughter now plays the game - (hehe mention to your husband that I have a white metal figure of "the White Dwarf" that was an early games workshop and see what he says maybe!  i painted and donated a lot of "spacemarines" et al several years ago to a suitably minded person.  Great to have hand individualised figures for the games!  yep the compressor for the airbrush is a bit noisy ( and the fumes a bit smelly!) I hacked into the extractor pipe for our downstairs loo and set up a fume cupboard to the outside world from my model cave (that was meant to be a professional workspace!).  Fortunately for my good lady wife we were able to build her a nice insulated arts studio in the garden after the misfortune of a tree blowing down meant an insurance "windfall" - nicely sound insulated too!  best wishes

Last year I booked myself into a London hotel with the plan to see lots of the British Museum without feeling rushed/tired on a day trip.

However, I cancelled as I got anxious but will try again.

The stuff there (much of it not in the country it should be!) is wonderful.

That quite incredible that creativity and art have been part of humanity for so long, and that we actually still have the pieces, even a little damaged, is astounding.
