The musician stands on the ground playing a double flute.  All known Cycladic musicians are male which may suggest the role of musician was exclusively male.

I feel the same as you about dusting. I’m more into clearing things out these days than collecting things, with the exception of my figurines, books and bits of archaeology.

And, it appears to be actually made in Greece!!! (I did have to check the ethical side of the shop )

I bought an Athene-type owl tears back for a friend and treated myself to a Minoan labrys. If I weren't averse to dusting, I'd be tempted to buy a lot more.   Once upon a time, I was soooo tempted by the BM's reproduction (in bronze) of the Gayer-Anderson Egyptian cat, but the price is always out of my reach.

I have a replica horse similar to the one in the photo. I see there is a replica ‘mask of Agamemnon’. I saw the original of that recently and the Phaistos Disc.
