Oh, wow! I love plastic models! This is awesome! I build some myself!

Here's some of my Gundam models!

My favourite is the Shining Gundam, which I own in 1/144 scale, MG (1/100) scale and SD scale!

They're fab Jamesmac making and displaying models is a great special interest!

Fab! I especially like the flying battleship one - it was always the vehicles that had me hooked rather than the characters as it were - but then I grew up with "thunderbirds" - where the vehicles were somehow more convincing than the characters to watch!  I've moved into using paint markers recently - mainly for smaller areas of paint - they're really good!  paint technology has improved so much from when i spilled enamel silver paint on my mum's table covering and table in our living room as a kid!  Do the gundam figures and vehicles have narrative "universe" that they come from - anime or video?

I'm not talking about quality, they literally are sold at a lower price than most kits! The manufacturer (Bandai) doesn't have to pay licensing fees due to them owning the brand, so they can sell them at cheaper rates lol 

Anyway, here's a couple old ones from the 1980s

the 1/2300 scale Musai and the 1/144 scale Agg. With these old ones, there's very little runners, no colour separated injection and require glue to construct them. I fully painted them with paint markers (although the Musai was already printed in green, luckily)

I think your underplaying the gundam kits by calling them cheaper Jamesmac !  _ i haven't made a kit myself for a few months either - i tend to do them in the winter time when I don't have my garden and allotment plants calling me to look after them!

It really is! I've yet to branch out into planes and vehicles, though. Gundam kits are just cheaper
