Monochrome photos

This is quite niche, but  inspired it by describing monochrome photos as 'deliciously moody'.

Please share any favourites, be they yours, family or those of others.

  I hope that you might join in too, as you shared a lovely black + white photo on the 3 things thread.

I shall start with one of my own.

  • I saw an interesting article last night on Countryfile. The lady makes a dye from something natural. On that occasion it was blackberry juice. She painted it all across the canvas and left to dry. She then put a branch of the plant with leaves in the frame and covered with glass. This is left in the sun for the background to fade. Then when the plant is removed there is an image in the colour of the plant juice.
