As the Nature thread is rather slow to load now as it's a bit cumbersome, and as threads are locked after 6 months, I thought I'd start a thread for the wonderful 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness' rather early, as it's not the 1st September yet.

I don't think I've ever been so glad to get one season kicked out the door and see another arrive.

Please share anything autumnal.

I will upload a photo or two when I find them.

    In the park across the road from our house, we've got trees that started aborting their seeds during the summer, and leaves turning brown and coming off a short time later. Some of those may have been dead matter from last year that hadn't fallen for whatever reason, possibly due to die-back in the branches. Slight frown
