As the Nature thread is rather slow to load now as it's a bit cumbersome, and as threads are locked after 6 months, I thought I'd start a thread for the wonderful 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness' rather early, as it's not the 1st September yet.
I don't think I've ever been so glad to get one season kicked out the door and see another arrive.
Please share anything autumnal.

It's far too early in the year here (southern Spain) to get any autumnal shots, and in any event, autumn doesn't really happen. Last year I was laid up recovering from emergency surgery from September onwards, so nothing from then. However, in early December of '24, this fellow (or perhaps lass) decided to visit our garden and even allowed me to get to around a couple of metres away with my camera. These were made without added light using my Nikon D810 and processed in Adobe Lightroom.
