In hibernation

As the Nature thread is rather slow to load now as it's a bit cumbersome, and as threads are locked after 6 months, I thought I'd start a thread for the wonderful 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness' rather early, as it's not the 1st September yet.

I don't think I've ever been so glad to get one season kicked out the door and see another arrive.

Please share anything autumnal.

  • I was thinking today, as we have iodd rainy day I wonder how long it will be until the reservoirs are full again so no hosepipe ban. Then I read that the situation is so bad on Lundy Island they are considering evacuating people and livestock because the reservoir is.nearly empty.
