Autumn/Fall

Lovely. 

I love the 'bounty' of Autumn.

The deer left their own ‘bounty’ in the form of their droppings. I was going to post a photograph of it but thought some people would think it distasteful. 

No worries, I don't think it's you, I think it's one of those times that I left half the joke in my head again. My husband says if I have to explain it, it's not very funny!

I’m so slow when it comes to things like that.

It's wonderful to find these secret signs that animals are passing through your garden. It's like being a nature detective!

I was trying to laugh at the droppings counting for the subject as they 'fall' out of the deer, and that I would be in favour of including a photo, though some might not have had their tea(dinner) yet! 

Oh no. Not nice, the rats droppings I mean. Mind you, the fox deposits aren’t great if they get into your shoes or in my case, on my dog.

Autumn? Yes, I think so, well it is in my garden. The deer are always close by or in my garden in autumn, usually from the second half of September. I don’t see them much during the summer months, they tend to stay closer to the nearby woods.  My theory is that they are travelling around more because they are in or approaching the rutting season. I haven’t seen them in my garden yet this autumn, but their deposits tell me they were here.
