Ellie1984, have you ever thought about getting a pet, such as a dog and cat?

I have read a number of people on the spectrum say they love their pets, especially their cat because it provides comfort and intimacy they don't find with other human beings. There seems something about a cat that people say puts them on the same "wavelength" as somebody who is autistic, although, obviously, it doesn't apply to everyone.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I'm allergic to lots of animals so I've never really been an animal person. I do like cats but my body does not!
