Rich McIlroy, a lecturer at the University of Southampton’s Transport Research Group, is working with the disabled people’s organisation Transport for All to better understand what disabled people need from mobile and web apps that support use of public transport and active travel (with or without mobility aids). We are asking anyone that identifies as disabled to participate. This includes autistic people, and people with mobility impairments, long term health conditions, sensory impairments, learning differences, or any other condition, long-term illness, or impairment that affects the way you make your day-to-day journeys. To participate, all you need to do is follow the link below and complete an anonymous questionnaire that asks about your preferences for possible app designs. The questionnaire takes around 15 minute to complete, and you can enter a prize draw for one of twenty £50 prizes if you choose.
