So I've been having issues at work which has left to a disaplery and after talking to the manager, there realised the struggles there where having talking to me, so there came back to me and tried again, and this time there got what there wanted. (I think there realised the issue was not understanding but how the autistic mind works, so had to rephrase the questions.
Long story short, there acknowledge my autism and dropped a lot of the charges and only kept one, which left to a warrning.
Basically I explained my recent diagnoses, and the struggle to mask as well as suffering from depression, which is common for late diagnoses. I also told them that I'm getting help and doing everything I can to turn this around. There asked about what I have in place to help and I told them about my ear plugs, figit spinner and going into the back kitchen to work when overwhelmed. There said there would give me some resources that could also help with my autism at work.
After it was all over told the manager I was going to head to the staff room to regulate, and came out 5 mins later feeling a lot better.
While I'm not complely happy with the outcome, I am glad there took my autism in account and are willing to help me find ways to help with my autism at work.
