Confession Of The Day

I stole this from another thread.

Is there anything you feel rather ashamed of having done or not done etc?

Mine is:

I have started but not finished The Remains of the Day, Never Let Me Go and Klara and the Sun (Kazuo Ishiguro books).

and many other 'worthy' novels.

Anguished

I do have greater sins I might share at a later date.

  • Had a job interview, felt like a complete failure.

    Not giving up though.

  • The good thing about being self employed is never having to have a job interview.

But having been an employer, I've interviewed others, it can be quite nerve wracking being on the other side of the desk. One of the usual questions was 'what do you think you could bring to the role?', you could get some really strange answers, sometimes to the point where I thought 'why do they want to work here, if all they can see is what they think we do wrong?

When I was counselling we had a bloke phone up and want to come and work with us, because he was ex army and wanted to give the "young tearaways some discipline", I don't think he had any idea of what counselling was.
