Researchers at the University of Sheffield are looking for participants to take part in research exploring the experiences of individuals diagnosed with autism following treatment for a restrictive eating disorder. The research team includes Elle Pemberton (the lead researcher), Professor John Fox and Professor Elizabeth Milne.
You can take part if you:

- were assigned female at birth (AFAB)
- have previously completed treatment for a restrictive eating disorder
- were diagnosed as autistic after being discharged from eating disorder treatment
- are at least 16 years old
Restrictive eating disorders include:
- anorexia nervosa
- atypical anorexia nervosa
- avoidant restrictive food intake disorder
- other specified feeding or eating disorder
- unspecified feeding or eating disorder
- eating disorder not otherwise specified
Taking part will involve:
- completing questionnaires (approximately 1 hour)
- an interview, either online or in person at the University of Sheffield (approximately 1 hour)
