Looking for friendship

Hi everyone

I was inspired by another recent post and thought I’d be brave and write one of my own.

I’m a 55-year-old woman from Sheffield and I’d love to make a genuine friendship with someone who enjoys regular chats, either online or, if you’re local, perhaps meeting for a coffee or a walk in the future.

I enjoy running, walking in nature, bike riding, travelling, books, podcasts, music, art and drawing, cooking, good food, animals and Scandinavian crime dramas. I also enjoy talking about life, philosophy and the different ways people see the world.

Life can feel a little lonely at times, and I thought it would be nice to get to know someone who enjoys sharing the ordinary things as well as the bigger conversations.

I’m not looking for a huge social circle…just one or two kind, genuine people who enjoy meaningful conversation and understand that friendships can take time to grow.

It doesn’t matter where you live if you’re happy to chat online. For me, it’s more about the person and the connection than labels.

    Hi I have many happy memories of Sheffield and my Dad, he had a pub. I never enjoyed meadowhall it's a dreadful place. I enjoyed crafting last year I got into resin making things for my self. I also have thing about making my own Xmas decorations in run up. I like to draw but I wouldn't say I'm the best I did do art design at college. I have to I don't get much time to do stuff as my 16month baby is full on but I've been getting him to draw and paint. I quite like Korean film or series.
