Sometimes being autistic sucks. I run a children's theatre group & we had dress rehearsal last night.
When watching I zoom in on things that aren't right, especially things that are not how expect them to be.
Well last night , a boy was wearing the wrong belt, white instead of silver to match his backing dancers. Our photographer was in & so I stopped the show to ask where the other belt was thinking it was in the wings. I just wanted to solve the problem.
This apparently got interpreted as me shouting at him and telling him off and he was embarrassed & messed up his solo.
I found him after and apologised & I got out the theatre quick. I messaged his mum to apologise to her as well. I got a REALLY angry reply from her & I consider to be my friend.
I sometimes feel that I create more problems then I solve but when my brain sees something wrong I need to fix it.
I just dont know how I can go back on Saturday for the shows. I feel rubbish
