Got my diagnosis

I had my Assessment appointment yesterday, I was diagnosed with Autism.

I am still trying to figure out what that means for me, I have for a long believed I was autistic, but hearing it from an NHS professional made it feel different.

Today has felt a bit weird in that nothing has changed but my head is telling me there is a change, if that makes any sense!

  • I found my diagnosis left me feeling a bit like a cat, I needed to turn round three times before I could settle down. Although you know there's nothing different about you, it sort of feels like there should be and unlike many other big life changing moments theres nowhere to go with it, you can't plan a wedding or look in baby shops or anything like that and there sort of feels that there should be.
