Got my diagnosis

I had my Assessment appointment yesterday, I was diagnosed with Autism. 

I am still trying to figure out what that means for me, I have for a long believed I was autistic, but hearing it from an NHS professional made it feel different.

Today has felt a bit weird in that nothing has changed but my head is telling me there is a change, if that makes any sense!

  • Oh congratulations! The thing with looking for a change is I suppose you are still you, but now with some knowledge about yourself that you didn’t have before. It might take a while to settle in. 
    how did you feel during the assessment? I hope it didn’t feel too much like a test. I have mine next week.
