Anyone interested in the above? If so, what do you have? Currently interested in Avicularia's and Cephalotus propogation methods but grow a wide range of them.

Hi IndigoMandala.
I've kept quite a few tarantulas over the years - but only the slightly less dangerous ones lol.
I've had:
Chilean Gold Burst - Truffle
Chaco Golden Knee - Kiko
Mexican Flame Knee - Mystery
Mexican Red Knee - Buddy Holly aka Holly (thought she was female lol)
Chiapas Tiger - Ember
Avicularia Versicolour - Trixie
Plus many more.
I've not had one since my oldest one (Truffle) past away last year. I still have her tank and equipment - maybe one day I might get another tarantula, but I've got a lot of other things to work on first.
Plant wise - I've only had a Venus Fly Trap - which unfortunately didn't last long as I over watered it lol. I'm not that good with plants - give me a spider (or any other animal) anytime lol.
Have a lovely day.
Mweekie xx
They are exactly the type of spiders I like. Anything too fast or flicky, then I'm not as keen on them. I found flame knees particularly bad for flicking....
Haha i get the animals over plants thing. One good thing about A.I is that it'll tell you exactly how to care.for plants, which is a big help for me as I've killed a few due to not doing the correct things.
What was your favorite out of your spiders? Thats a cool list.
Have a good day yourself
Has to be Truffle for my fave as she was my first and oldest tarantula - she was already 8 years when I got her back in 2015 and passed last year - so she was 17 (approx) when she died. She was as calm as anything and has helped several people to ease their fear over spiders. My St John Ambulance Cadets did a name draw for her and that's how she got the name Truffle - but her brown with golden flecks did actually make her seem a bit like a Ferrero Rocher chocolate lol.

Sounded ike a lovely spider. Have been thinking about getting a Brazillian black for their calm nature but knowing me, i would probably get a crazy exception lol
