Newly diagnosed at 56

It took a while to ask my doctor for a referral for an autism assessment but it was worth it, having finally being diagnosed as autistic, having adhd and dyspraxia. It's early days yet, but it's reassuring to have my suspicions confirmed. I'm hoping that I don't feel regret for wasted years of not having been diagnosed!

  • Hi  and welcome

I think it’s a process that I’ve been working through coming to terms with the what ifs is a difficult part of this but I feel it it’s a necessary step. I am slowly starting to unravel my past with the help of my therapist and it is helping me to understand the person I am underneath my mask.

    Wishing you wellBlush
