Participants wanted: An interview study about the experience of autistic parents with ADHD

Note: This account only posts external research that has been approved by the NAS research team.

Research background

I’m Hannah Kelly, a trainee clinical psychologist at University College London. I am looking for research participants for a study about AuDHD parenting. Parenthood is a key life stage, and it’s important that we understand how people who are autistic and have ADHD experience it. This project aims to explore both the strengths and joys of AuDHD parenting, as well as the challenges and struggles.

Who can take part?

You can participate if you’re both autistic and have ADHD, and you’re also a parent of a child under 18. You also need to be over 18, live in the UK and be able to participate in an interview in English.

What does taking part involve?

Taking part involves an introductory phone call, a 15-minute online survey, and a 60–90-minute interview (at UCL or online).

Reimbursement details

You’ll be sent a £15 Love2Shop voucher afterwards, to thank you for your time.
