Electrical sensations by contact, is this a more common autistic thing?

I was wondering if anyone else is like this and if i relates to autism and sensory sensitivity. I am both hypersensitive and hyposensitive.

This been going on for decades. Sometimes some surfaces like give me a light electrical sensation, not like a shock but lighter but on that same theme.

I wondered if this was an autistic issue and does it happen to any of you?

It happened to me just last week in a supermarket. I had to use a shawl to open a fridge because of it which was metal.

Thank you

  • It's life long for me too, I wonder if it's atmospheric pressure, it's just started happening again now we've had high atmospheric pressure and with warm dry weather? My car#s shocking me every time I touch the doors, so are supermarket trollies, I've not been on an escalator, for a while but I'm sure if I did, there's be a double arc of sparks between both sides of my hands and the metal of the rail.
