Dry heaving after concert.

So I just got back from a concert which lasted about 3 and a half hours, at the end of it I was dry heaving when I walked out into the car part. What's going on here? I had a lovely time at the concert and I get the massive sensory overload with just 5 minutes of relief when I went to the toilet, but this is the first time I have reacted like that.

Thanks.

  • Hey, sorry to hear that you experienced that after having a lovely time and this can be very uncomfortable. If I could tell you a similar experience, this has happened to me regularly and happened today after having a busy day of appointments and travelling alone on transport etc. when I got off the bus into the air at home I was dry heaving for about 10 minutes and I had to get straight into bed and cover my head. It can be very confusing then because anxiety makes you look into everything. But I really think it’s just we are not fully aware of our sensitivity and knowing when something may be a bit to much. I hope you can give yourself some compassion and know that this is a normal response to overstimulation.
