Re: low key employment ideas

Hi

i was just wondering if anyone could suggest ideas for low key, part time jobs where there’s little to no socializing and little chance of sensory overload.

i was thinking of delivering flyers.  Was also considering grocery delivery but that’s wear and tear on my car and I’m not sure if pay is fair.

thanks

  • Night porter / Janitor can be good as well.

  • Custodian is such an underrated job. Especially ones that clean churches, as those locations tend to keep cleaner than say schools or retail stores. You get low socialization, possibility of listening to your own music or wearing headphones, and a consistent list of things to do.

Also, I’ve seen a lot of custodial positions around my area that actually pay pretty good compared to other jobs. You might think they’d probably be minimum wage, but I’ve seen positions for $15 an hour in the Midwest (our minimum wage is $7.25)

I also see it as a noble profession. You’re indirectly responsible for others having a good day, even if they don’t notice it.
