Ive noticed i find immerssive day dreaming and elaborate story telling with lots of detail, which can feel real at times to help me cope with things, does anyone else do the same.
- I find it easy ti make up storys than have a serious conversation

I relate very much to making up stories being easier than serious conversations. I love a flight of fantasy and could talk about stuff like this for ages, but will freeze up and my words are a jumble with the latter.
I also might have an imagined serious conversation in my head but not say anything in real life.
I bet there would be a enchanting bunch of fiction hidden in the collective minds of autistic people.
Making up stories and talking about made up nonsense helps me get through the working day. Other colleges think im a bit wierd but they see the funny side off it as i try and talk nonsense in a joking way. Some times i will feed a person a load of nonsense about a fictional situation to wind them up
