Right to choose on hold?

I have just read that the wait list for autism assessments through Right To Choose has been put on hold. I looked further into it and it seems it maybe until the beginning of the new financial year when more funding is available. Is anyone aware of any more information about this?  I am awaiting assessment and have been feeling very anxious about this recently and now it’s even worse!

  • I think you are right in your assumption, my wife’s unit is in similar measures, since Christmas they have had a ban on recruitment and the use of bank staff. My wife leaves next Tuesday to retire and return to a different location. Her old job hasn’t been advertised.
I think you’re upcoming assessment should be okay after the new financial year starts,  unfortunately the new money only pays off the overdraft, the new year starts with a new overdraft.
