feedback appointment

hi all i was diagnosed a while back with nhs and have a feedback appointment soon.  could you tell me if you have had one, what happens and is there anything i should ask or request.  thankyou

  • I had one, it lasted a couple of hours and I found it very helpful. It was with lady who assesed me and she gave me lots of help re using the diagnosis to my advantage. This has been especially helpful in terms of requesting, and mostly getting reasonable adjustments. Good luck

  • My son was diagnosed on NHS (though Scotland and for a child). His follow up appointment was a chance to ask questions about the diagnosis, and didn't last that long in the end. (They were new to the post, but took my husband's email address and got back to him with the info we'd asked about). I'm not sure if yours will be different, or who it is with, but thought I'd mention our experiences.
