UC Claim Review - What Happens?

I have a UC claim review next Wednesday and because I struggle to understand money, I could be in trouble.

This is the first one I have had for a while; I would be open to hints and tips, what evidence they ask you to provide and what they talk about in a claim review.

My rejection sensitivity is kicking in as if I am trouble; I am anticipating some heavy consequences. Thanks

  • What group are you in?  LCW, LCWRA or normal group doing continuous work search?

    They will ask you about your claim, your health and what you're doing to find work.

    If they make a suggestion,  treat it as mandatory,  or they will try to cut your benefits.  A real example from many years ago. They asked me politely if would be interested in joining a job club.  That was actually a mandatory referral,  join or benefits are stopped.

    I am LCW and cannot work due to mental health issues. If I treat any suggestions as mandatory, does this mean they will force me back into work when I am traumatised by my last job?
