Hey, I'm completely new to this very handy website and out of a recent nescesity to help my autitic brother I'm looking for help. I hope this community can do just that.
He is 25 y/o and very remote. Lives at home with mum but has very little social care aside from family and his support has all but dried up due to funding. We live in Thanet (very close to Margate) and his social life needs a pick-me-up asap. His sleeping pattern is backwards and his lifestyle is all but inert. I'd love for him to find friends of his own (I'm 8 years older) and feel he belongs to something that expresses his loveable personality to the fullest. He reads (a lot), enjoys pop culture, movies etc and is very sensitive and intelligent.
No doubt this scenario is all too common place and that there are others who can reach out with advice. Any and all is of course welcome.
