I’m Karen Cross, an autistic PhD researcher at the University of Reading (supervised by Dr Fiona Knott and Professor Alana James). We're recruiting autistic current UK university students or recent graduates (18+) for an online study about experiences of autism during university across three pathways:
-
Diagnosed as autistic while attending university
-
Seeking/awaiting an autism diagnosis while attending university
-
Self-identifying as autistic while attending university (not currently pursuing diagnosis)
Research Advisory Group (RAG) (3-5 people): advisory role (not research participation), online via Teams, camera optional, up to three 60-minute meetings and optional email reflections. Thank-you Amazon vouchers: £25 per meeting (up to £75 total) + £12.50 for optional out-of-session review.
-
Focus groups (expression of interest): online groups (60-90 minutes) for people who fit one of the three pathways while at university. Dates will be confirmed later; registering interest is optional and does not commit you to taking part. Thank you, Amazon voucher: £25 for a focus group session.
