Do I need to be assessed?

I'm rapidly approaching the grand old age of 80 and recently suspected that I could well be autistic. I'm not looking for any financial or official assistance, so is there any need for me to be assessed?

What I really need is advice on how to manage things. I've been struggling a lot for too many years and I'm hoping that now that I may have identified the root cause of my struggles, I may be able to make things easier. Coping day to day shouldn't be this hard.

  •   you ate ten years ahead of me. So like you Imam well and truly retired and not needing any adjustments at work. But I still have a life to live and want my future to be better than my past. So I went via Right to Choose. I am now officially Autistic. Does it change me? no. But I begin to understand myself better. Thats good in my opinion.
