Favourite type of weather

What is your favourite type of weather? A random question, I know

I really like it when it rains. I've always liked the sound of the rain hitting the windows. It's not fun being out in the rain; I just like looking and listening to it.

The same goes for snow, I love watching snow fall and looking outside to thw snow. To be honest, I think being out in the snow is fun, but about 12 years ago, my family and I had an incident out in the snow. I don't really want to talk about it because it might seem silly to many people.

  • A bright, cold frosty morning is my favourite type of weather. I enjoy the sunshine, but not when it's throwing out over 20c heat at me. I don't mind rain if I am inside as I like watching/listening to it.

I really dislike storms though, low thunder rumbles aren't too bad if I am inside, but loud thunder makes me scared as it's like how I am with fireworks and balloons - not comfortable with it unless I am in my "bubble" xx

  • I really enjoy watching a thunder storm, I've been caught out in one where lightening was crashing to the ground around me, every time the lightening struck my feet lifted a little off the ground, it was really exilarating, I wasn't scared of being struck or anything.

  • I think what made me nervous of loud thunderstorms was when I was 15. I was doing homework in the office at home and all of a sudden there was a loud bang, which turned out to be a thunderbolt, that was literally over the roof of the house. It caused a massive powercut and, as I am nervous of loud bangs etc. made me leap out of my chair and hit my head on a bookshelf.

Needless to say, I have always been anxious about it happening again - so whenever a storm starts, I try and just take cover lol.

My parents and rest of the family enjoy watching thunderstorms, but then again, they enjoy fireworks as well lol.
