Personal Independence Paypents

PIP is budgeted to pay 20% less than DLA, the benefit it replaces as the criteria has changed. Lost eligibility is clearly going to be from the mental health conditions, and given our known difficulty in generating empathy from NTs, you have to wonder if any of us are going to be recieving help from this source.

I just recieved my descision: "I regret to inform you that you are not eligible for PIP..."

  • Hi Outraged.  Sorry to hear about the pip decision.  I presume you are appealing?  So many claimants (for whatever benefit) seem to be refused when they are assessed.  However many do win on appeal.  As you say, those with autism, lds, mh issues etc need to seek help to safeguard themselves + to deal with these appalling practices.  There may be info via the home pg + other sites such as disability rights, cag, cab, etc.
