I emailed the community manager and have just received a reply. It seems my memory was incorrect - I am informed that I joined 20 June 2017. I think I'll add that to my profile info.

So, it's my 9 year anniversary this year, not 10. 

And to you too. You have reminded me that I believe you were also here when I joined.

It's a personal, relative, not a general thing, with regard to whether it's 'good' or not.

I've been on here a while and have been involved in very disturbing PMs from vulnerable people who are self harming and dying.  A mod didn't help or intervene to help the people I was talking to to my knowledge.

Others have been sexually harrassed by PM and no-one intervened, again to my knowledge.

Others have left because of their belief that what should be private messages are apparently not private.

Apparently I registered in Feb of 2021, so just about to be 5 years, although I think I may have been lurking for a bit before that.

He got better though - he was on here about 6 months ago and i had a quick chat. I think he left when he found out about the fact the mods have the ability to read our private messages.

I just checked through my emails, I joined July 2019, but in that time have actually interacted here very little. Shortly after joining I struggled terrible with my mental health. Still struggle but things are getting better, slowly.. I hope I can interact more now and become more a stable presence here.

I turn over the odd page, here and there, on occasion....still....barely.

There will always be disagreements. But when I first started, there was a certain individual that would say some very personal, strongly worded things that were very upsetting. I'm glad you changed your mind and don't regret it.

Ive been here two years, I saw quite much. Quite many heated arguments, also goodbyes, I remain quietly here and usually don't engage in arguments. There was one moment,  when I was going to leave, but changed my mind and I don't regret it.
