Assessment put on hold due to lack of funding

Just had a message come throigh from the provider I chose through the RTC scheme and they have told me my assessment is now on hold due to funding issues. The providers in my area have been told not to take any new refferals on and they have told me im just gonna be sat on the waiting list until further notice. If anything does change im looking at April at the earliest. Its just my luck. 

Anyone else in the same boat? Have I llost me best chance at an assessment now

  • Sorry you have to wait longer, the NHS tends to stop paying external services at this time of the year.  Their next financial year is from April 1st, they then get their next years funding. Hopefully you won’t have to wait much beyond that point. A block even gets put on recruiting new staff at this time of the year.
