Neurodiversity Coach Certification -?courses

Hi there. I'm interested in traing to be a Neurodiversity Coach, which if my Facebook feed is anything to go by, is going to be a big thing.

I've missed the training job application for Brain in Hand, but may send in my CV and put myself 'out there'.

So on Facebook, my algorhythm brings up at least four different courses to becoma a coach. I would appreciate anyones advice about courses, or anyone has done a course.

Thank you in advance,

Mrs Snooks.

  • I have heard of autism coaches somewhere but I don’t know anything about them or if they are legitimate.

I agree with  that it sounds too good to be true and that usually means it’s not true.

The ‘reduction’ in cost sets alarm bells ringing for one thing, and ‘Certified in the UK’ sets more bells ringing because that means nothing. Anybody can certify anything in any place.

‘CPD’ is the abbreviated form of ‘Continuing Professional Development’ That is usually an add on course, often short in length, for qualified people who work in occupations such as teaching, nursing, counselling and so on. It doesn’t make sense to state it is ‘approved by …, CPD, CMA, and more’. I don’t know what the other letters in the sentence mean.

I think it looks dodgy and I would stay clear of something like that.
