Just let my autism out.

So I was walking back from the shop feeling very tired and like my brain was shutting down and I let the autism in my out, started making all these faces, noises and hand movements. I got as massive sense of relief and energy, felt much more at ease, confidence, able to walk better, look at people. It was amazing. I felt normal and included.

I have been doing a lot of work with my therapist and within myself to accept my autism. So I feel this is a huge step forward for me. To be honest I don't care anymore now, now I know how it feels I am not repressing or masking it now. It makes me feel like *** and I can't functions, I need to do it and let people I am interacting with know what's going on.

I am done not accepting myself and denying who I am. Thanks.

  • Just did it again when doing my shopping just now. I would do it and then start laughing/smiling to myself. Like joy and happiness. Feels great. I always had this tangled feeling in my stomach, but now it feels free and correct. I have so much more control and confidence when I do it too. The left side of my brain is aching now, because I have cerebral palsy in my left brain, so the autism must have activating it too. Its interesting and good. I still need to navigate when I do it because if people see it they could think there is something wrong with me, like I am having a stroke or seizure.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBOugwzxP78&list=RDMMuziUE25e7mA&index=4
