I’m an autistic man who also has ADHD, looking for a pen pal. I tend to get on best with other autistic people and find written communication much easier and more natural.

I’d especially value talking with an autistic woman, as I appreciate hearing different perspectives, but I’m mainly looking for something relaxed and pressure-free.

Some of my interests include football (I support Liverpool), reading (both fiction and history), hiking, cars, aviation, fitness, and I’ve recently started judo. I also enjoy history, Sherlock Holmes, and music — mostly 70s rock, 2000s indie, and the usual 80s classics.

  • Hello. I've been meaning to create an account here for the last two weeks and finally decided to go ahead and do it. There's nothing on my profile because I haven't even looked through that stuff yet.

    I'm in Northern Scotland so experiencing an awful lot of snow and ice just now. I have Autism and ADHD.

    Your post caught my eye because we share some of the same interests. I enjoy writing (when I can focus), hiking (when I can spare the time and have charge in my camera), aviation (well my dream was always to be a pilot and while I have flown on a PPL licence I can't do it right now), I have an interest in fitness (which has been constant throughout my life), and I've also been in and out of martial arts over the years. Never judo though. Sadly, I don't know anything about football, cars (though I often wish I knew more so I could sort minor problems without going to the garage. I do also enjoy listening to wave music in my car, but only when I'm driving and not so much when I'm not. It helps me relax when I have to head out to get food and essentials), and I don't know much about history.

    I've never done a pen pal thing before but I am joining this site hoping to meet new people and chat relaxed and pressure-free as you said.
