Looking forward to Spring

I have realized this year that the dull weather is something that makes this time of year difficult, along with the dark evenings.

I am looking forward to the evenings starting to get lighter and the first signs of spring, with the early bulbs bringing colour. Spring is my favourite season and heading towards it gives me a sense of hope.

Does anyone else struggle with this time of the year?

  • I do, I seem to travel to and from work in the dark. I could truly hibernate. Today is the Winter solstice so the daylight hours will start drawing out, Spring always seems bright, I love seeing all the Spring flowers creeping through the soil in their strict order.
