Has anyone else had multiple “autism specialist” colleges refuse their young person mainly due to behaviour?

Has anyone used EOTAS/EOTIC as a deliberate “bridge year” while continuing to push for a future college place? How did that work in practice?
- I’m mum to a 20-year-old autistic young man and It feels like behaviour is being treated as a reason to refuse him education, rather than a need to be supported.
