If Name Blindness is a thing is forgetting where you are going also a thing?

Is there a name for forgetting how you are going to get where you’re going either on foot or by car?! I’ve done this since I learnt to drive (40 years ago) and have to try to think of the place I’m going (sometimes that’s really hard to visualise) and then think back to where I am now to work out my route. If that doesn’t stick I have to keep doing it over and over again on the journey. Does anyone know if this is an autistic thing or just me?

  • I needed 2 years to learn names of all my colleagues in my class. It was easier if someone had some unusual traits like very tall or very short etc. But otherwise all people were actually same to me. Especially if there were few girls with blond hair, I could never tell them apart, although they were not related. And it happens to me sometimes, that someone approaches me in a street and start talking to me. I get shocked and then it turns out I was supposed to know this person from school or courses or previous job. When I put some effort, sometimes I manage to recall this person. Or i just stay confused and embarrassed. 

    Sorry it was supposed to be a reply to orher post but I confused them. 

    Getting lost in buildings is my speciality. I do it and I deliver fun to others
