Problem with other people using there index finger

I dont like people pointing or touching me with there index finger, I find it extremely overwhelming and the issue can cause me to self harm. So I find it challenging to be around people who talk with there hands and fingers a lot or have there index finger sticking out. If im touched with the index finger the sensation from it is to overwhelming and I will self harm to try and cancel this out. Im the same with cushions, pillows clothinh etc with pointed corners Anyone else have similar issues.

  • I don’t have issues to the extent that you do, but I don’t like people pointing at me.

I have noticed that people are pointing at the person they are talking to more than they used to. They do it on TV news discussion programmes and I’ve observed the behaviour when out and about. It is rude and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Some people are touchy feely and when they invade my space I feel like ‘pointing’ it out. It was easier during covid because you could tell them “2m rule!” which usually worked.

  • I really enjoyed the isolation of covid, I agree pointing with index finger is rude
