Problem with other people using there index finger

I dont like people pointing or touching me with there index finger, I find it extremely overwhelming and the issue can cause me to self harm. So I find it challenging to be around people who talk with there hands and fingers a lot or have there index finger sticking out. If im touched with the index finger the sensation from it is to overwhelming and I will self harm to try and cancel this out. Im the same with cushions, pillows clothinh etc with pointed corners Anyone else have similar issues.

  • I do use a lot of gestures when speaking, but I don't like pointing, I was always taught pointing was rude, you can point at things but not people. I really dislike being poked with an index finger or any other for that matter, people doing that or poking at me right up close in the face, it makes me want to rip that finger off with my teeth or break it. That finger is a one digit act of aggression and to me should be dealt with as such. I don't have problems with other things having corners or points, unless I walk into them.
