Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? My 15-year-old’s always been a bit anxious, but a couple of weeks ago he had his first UTI. The first antibiotics made him really delirious, so the GP switched them, and thankfully the infection’s gone now.
Since then though, he’s developed really bad health anxiety — constantly worrying something’s wrong with him, which then makes him so anxious he ends up having what seem like panic attacks. I’m wondering if puberty might also be part of it, as he seems super aware of every little feeling or change in his body.
Has anyone else been through this with their teen? What helped them get back to their normal, calm self? I just want my boy to feel like himself again.
