What do you guys like doing in the autumn? Me I like going for walks especially through the leaves watching the trees change colour. What about everyone else.

I find looking at a candle is relaxing. I find watching flames fascinating.
When I was a child we had an open fire and I used to like watching the patterns.
Other worldly!!
Sitting in the dark with a solitary candle, cup of tea, listening to the wind. Heaven.
I like going for walks as well. I also like to photograph the leaves, capturing their colour begin to change. The transition is pretty cool like when everything comes to life and grows in the spring.
Reading this time of the year is nice too. I sit by my fire, hot chocolate at hand and a good fiction book ready to read.
This sounds such a lovely day out. I do like tea rooms.
All the colour is seeping to carpets on the ground around now as it starts to look bare and wintry. Hot drinks on these days seem to taste even better.
Yesterday I had a nice day this is related to autumn to a point my friend came to pick me up from mine yesterday we went for an autumn drive got to see the trees then we stopped at a tea room and he treated me to a gingerbread latte and a sausage sandwich. Weather wasn’t great but the drive was good and I had a nice brunch.
No the sun should be able to wake up unobserved except by birds, they should be allowed time to settle into the day too. I prefer a late evening or night walk, standing under the moon, especially standing under the moon on frosted grass with bare feet, it feels lovely.
What I find really hard at first, even though I quite like it, is how it feels like night time when its only late afternoon/early evening, the whole thing boggles my mind at first and takes me at least about a month to settle into mentally
Mornings aren't great either but fortunately as I work afternoons I don't usually have to rise until after daylight breaks anyway, so it doesn't affect me as much
I'd prefer them to stop messing about with the clocks,
Here in Brazil we did away with the daylight savings a few years ago and it is so much less hassle now. I hope other countries follow suit.
I'd prefer lighter evenings, mornings are evil and should be discouraged!
I don't know - there is something magical about getting up at daybreak and going our for a walk to feel the rising sun on your face, the fresh air on your skin and enjoy the peace and quiet where everyone else is still in bed.
I like to write during fall. I don’t know why but around this time I always get blasted with a burst of creative energy.

Hi SJH1994
I like the dark nights at first too!!
Yes, thats what I like about it at first.
I'm the other way round in that it takes me longer to adapt to the days being very short. On the whole I prefer the longer days, its probably because I was born in Summer, I think that does make a difference
Watching the leaves change colour and fall of trees is something I always like to see happen, I really like the aesthetics of it. I also like the dark drawing in early AT FIRST, towards the end It starts to get a little depressing and I look forward to the days getting longer, happens every year!
Oooh that’s such a good idea, thanks :)
