Today I Managed to....

Some days just getting through feels like a big effort.

Yesterday, I managed to get through the day, even though my mind felt heavy and scattered.

  • I'm taking this as a big win today. I've been trying to get healthier for a while and it's a struggle. I'm limited food wise so it relies on exercise and I can really struggle with motivation for it. I dislike the gym so I've been trying to run. I don't love that either but at least it doesn't feel like everyone's watching me. I really didn't want to go today but I ended up running further than planned. This is one of the only runs I remember giving me that positive mental feeling people talk about. Usually a run is just something to get through as an "ends to a means" - way of getting fitter. So very proud of myself today and actually feeling better than before the run.
