Light sensitivity

I didn't think I was, after all I've managed for 57 years ok.

But I've started wearing a baseball cap indoors after noticing if I shielded my eyes from light from above I immediately feel calmer. My breathing is easier, i.e. diaphragm breathing rather than chest breathing, and more relaxed too. It may also help me stay asleep at night as I am more relaxed when going to bed. The last 2 nights have been much better.

AI suggests to use more lamps rather than ceiling lights and use bulbs with 2700k bulb temp colour. I have yellowy white (warm white?) led bulbs, but it seems they may contain lots of blue still. I have 60W equivalent so I can read, but seems I need to change my lighting.

I'm surprised how much difference a cap has made.

Just sharing in case it helps someone else and you haven't thought of it.

  • Same here but I don't wear baseball cap,  but sunglasses instead, also indoors and in partly cloudy day. Long time I used to get questions,  why I squint my eyes so much, jokes that I look like high or that I am high, I myself felt very irritated but it took me long time to realise it. I use earplugs, sunglasses and without any medication I stopped having heart palpitations,  tics, short breath, dizziness and panic attacks. I get misunderstood by my family, laughed at and stared at etc. But im so tired of this cra,y world thst I can't cope otherwise.
