i also contacted rhe counsel about it

I may or may not of come across as rude but this email had Basicly caused a meltdown becuase I felt lied to

  • Autism is legally recognised as a disability, so you are entitled to "Reasonable adjustments" under section 10 of the Equality Act 2010.
I suggest you write back to the "Welfare" department and ask that they pass it to the relevant department as a reasonable adjustment for your autism.

  • Would you happen to be in Sheffield?
Or is fraud by local councils depressingly common?

  • To be fair my local my is hated by the rest of the council era becuase he calls out on fraud and misconduct

  • When my Council were committing fraud my MP wasn't interested, the Council fraud department is only interested when the Council is on the losing end of fraud, the Council complaints system and Ombudsman system turned out to be corrupted so I'm not sure it is worth the stress of going through the complaints system.

  • This week for me has been filed with lies and bs and can be summed up with one lyric

The world moves on another day another drama

but not for me all I want all I want is karma

  • Mine too, I had a hissy fit trying to fill in a form for new car insurance and shut the whole thing down, I think I perfer paying more to stay with my existing insurers than have the hassle of filling in forms. In this case it was filling it in, then getting bounced back to a page that hadn't previously come up.

I've had that thing before too of emailing somebody only for the email address to to turn out to be the wrong one and phone numbers too. I've often wondered how others manage to navigate all this nonsense, I'm fed up of being told it works fine for everybody else, I don't believe them, I think they lie and deliberately too, maybe not the person you end up on the phone with, but certainly the people who send out emails.

  • Frustrating and dis-abling. It won't help just now, but you should write a complaint to the council and your MP.

  • Administration tasks that involve paper and online forms are near the top of my procrastination pile—well they are on the top because they are the thing that usually needs priority, yet they get pushed to the bottom as I reach for an ‘easier’ task to do first.

I can ‘hear’ your annoyance and frustration at being sent from one place to another because the email address wasn’t functioning. It’s not your fault that the system has been badly implemented but you have done all you can.

I always wonder how others manage when councils/governments make it impossible for people to follow instructions.
