Found a website about Autism (Scotland and Wales, I think)

Hi,

I thought a small number of people here may be in Scotland or Wales, and may want to checkout the website below.

It is taking me time to understand it but it seems one can attend some events for free, although it is in some cities only.

Anyways, here it is https://autisminitiatives.org/, also the about page is at Autism Initiatives | One Stop Shops

(It seems that in some cases they do ask for a formal diagnosis to attend events.)

  • Hi yes these are available in Scotland but only really in the bigger cities. Unfortunately funding is being cut everywhere so they may not be there for much longer.

I have used No 6 in Edinburgh and I have heard that a new group has started that covers central Scotland called AuCentral. They meet every 1st and 3rd week of the month.

I am not sure where in Scotland you are based though?
